  • I don't usually do reviews. But for this place, I am making an exception. First of all...DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE. Let me repeat that again, DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!! They sucker you in with a low price and then beat you up with low ball techniques that I will get into below. I had a fairly tame experience compared to some of the reviewers here, but I witnessed first hand many of their unprofessional and dubious business practices. Let me break it down for you 1) Long lines - the line to check in is long and the people behind the counter are rude and unprofessional. Even after you finish checking in, you have to wait for another 20-30 minutes to get a car because they are usually low on inventory 2) Dirty Cars - They take the cars out back and spray some water on them. But trust me, these cars haven't seen soap in a long while. 3) Good luck getting a full size/SUV/Minivan if you booked one of these. They have low inventories of these types and usually get customers to settle for a smaller car by offering them a small discount. The practice of overselling far beyond their capacity is highly prevalent here. I saw them tell a family of 4 with 8 suitcases that they don't have a full size like they had originally booked and can instead give them 2 midsize cars!!! How ridiculous is that?!? 4) Shuttle bus waits are ridiculously long! We had to wait half an hour to get back to the airport. .And shockingly it was the guy behind the counter who drove us to the airport. Wonder who manned the counter when he was gone? 5) Tons of hidden fees and money sucking clauses - You will most likely HAVE to buy their own liability insurance at $12 a day because they require a 1 million personal liability coverage which virtually none of us have here in America. And liability insurance is usually not covered under credit card rental protections. Even if they promise unlimited miles when you book it will be 200km per day when you get there because there is a fineprint somewhere that individual terms and conditions may vary per rental location or something. And they require a $500 deposit upfront, so better be prepared for that. When I was returning my car, I saw the guy behind me get hit with a $1000 damage deposit for a teeny tiny scratch on the bumper! I could go on and on. But you get the picture. Avoid them like the plague and I hope they go bankrupt soon.
