  • We walk in around 6:00pm after having lunch across the street. Initially, it can be a bit overwhelming due to the spaciousness of the store, plus their massive selection of games and cards. It was somewhat crowded at the back with the tables, but the rest of the store was roomy with only a few other wandering customers. The colors really make this place great to look at, and if you're just killing time, this is awesome for "window shopping". There's enough to keep you entertained for hours, plus a nice table area in the back to test out some of their sample board games. They have televisions with movies or shows, or even competitions. The product varies anywhere from Gameboy Advanced to board games, inclusive of puzzles, miniatures, cards, and dice. I never knew there were so many types of Monopoly!! Plus the DS and old Nintendo games and consoles really took me back! Everyone I encountered was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The owner was incredibly awesome and patient with my questions, because I honestly don't know much about what they carry. He looked somewhat intimidating at first, but his welcoming attitude and friendly conversation killed that instantly. My fiance wanted to expand his Magic deck, and teh owner directed us to other employees. Both gentlemen in the card section were eager and ecstatic to help out. They showed him some possible creatures that could improve his deck, and even took the time to check their card inventory for the ones he was specifically looking for. We were VERY price-wary because of previous reviews. I was afraid we would walk in and end up dropping hundreds of dollars, or maybe just leave and order online. I have a feeling those were bad experiences, or maybe impatient customers. I walked around checking Amazon and Ebay on my phone, comparing prices of what we wanted to what was online. Everything was basically the same, if only a few cents or dollars higher (I am entirely willing to pay two more dollars for something in-hand than wait several days for shipping and handling). The prices on cards matched everywhere else in town (according to the fiance - I wouldn't know). Most of their collectible Pop figures were reasonable, though there were a few that exceeded what I'm willing to spend (damn things run over $100.00 now). Plus their DS games were super inexpensive, and everything was CLEAN. I will definitely drop by more often - the environment is incredibly friendly and open. I'd like to learn Magic so that the fiance and I can consistently play. The players in the back were casual and having a good time with one another, which was awesome to see. I think we'll make this our usual spot, especially after our negative experiences with other gaming stores in the area. Super fun, with such a massive selection.
