Terrible experience - we were in a panic about our 11 month old puppy that we thought may have a bowel obstruction - lots of straining with no bowel movements and developed bloody discharge in the middle of the night... so at 3:30 AM we called and took her to this facility. To start, the doors were locked and another client inside opened them for us - no staff to be found anywhere. We were standing at the front desk with her straining and dripping on the floor for well over 5 minutes before they even gave us paperwork to fill out! I understand it's the middle of the night but typically the doors shouldn't be locked with no staff member at the front desk for triage. If anyone came here for a true emergency that was seriously time dependent then you would have to kiss your loved one goodbye. After an emotional three hours with far too much waiting we were given a cost estimate for just under $1,000 for recommended diagnostics and asked if surgery were required how much that would be - about $3,000 - $5,000. Since it was almost 7AM we took our baby to a vet that was open and now will be our main go to - for $150 we found out what was wrong with her, had medications handed to us at discharge and all further workups included in case it is more than a colitis. We saw Dr Baxter at the emergency center - she is extremely knowledgeable but not very warm, all business. We left feeling extremely emotional and hopeless, thank God we found a vet that is in it for the right reasons rather than the money. Avoid if at all possible!!!
