| - I've HAD it with this pharmacy. Since the written complaint I submitted to Walgreens online was ignored I called them today to lodge it. We'll see if I receive a call in 2 days as I was told.
I called this location to check the status of my script I dropped off yesterday at 9:30am-ish. (At the time, I was told it would be ready by 11am, then changed to early afternoon.) the pharmacy manager answered the phone, not identifying herself, and was rude, sounding put off that I had called. Without explanation my script has been delayed to the 25th. I had foot surgery on the 10th & I have maybe 2 days worth of meds left. This simply won't do. My script specifically said POST SURGICAL warranting immediate release. WTH is going on?? I guess I can deal with this delay. I am floored by the consistent, unprofessional & blatant rudeness that this manager & her techs display to customers.
I am beyond sick & tired of this pharmacy. I only come here as a last resort. I came here as a last resort yesterday. Walgreens needs to do something about this location. It's beyond bad. If they don't then Walgreens condones bad behavior of their employees & ill treatment of their customers.
UPDATE
I spoke with corporate who forwarded my complaint to the store manager. Within minutes of doing so Ryan the store manager called.
He's aware of the problem in the pharmacy and says he is taking it seriously & steps ate in place to turn it around. One of my complaints is the "it takes 2 weeks to order meds," and he acknowledged that was a blatant lie. While he earned my respect during that call, I agreed to give them 1 more chance since I could tell he was sincere in fixing the problem & keeping my business.
That chance came a week later. Unfortunately Stephanie, Queen of Rudeness, blew it. She's just a nasty, mean, hateful person who has no business being a pharmacist let alone the pharmacy manager. I saw my doc & picked up a script & immediately drove to this pharmacy. My doctor forgot to date it. Big deal...they have to confirm it by phone anyway...she made a point, in as condescending a tone as she could muster, of telling me my doctor is stupid if she thinks a phone call will do & that I couldn't write the date on the script myself. I had to drive 20 miles back to the doc to get a new script...i took it to a different Walgreens. I am done dealing with this bitch.
