What an awful/ typical experience. The wait wasn't too bad but the service was almost a joke. At first I laughed because I thought they were joking with the rude comments. Then I realized that these people either hate their jobs or people. Maybe both!
The greater/security guard was very nice and helpful. Why a dmv needs a security guard is beyond me... Once she pointed me in the right direction, I started to experience issues. As the lady who prints out the plastic cards was talking instead of listening to me tell her that info on my license was incorrect she hit print. Once she realized what she had done she panicked and asked a senior person. They said there is nothing we can do, go over to the other side and wait to talk to someone there. I did. This person argued with me and didn't seem to understand why it mattered to me that my license was incorrect as long as I had one. Really?!?? I showed the guy my old license in comparison and he didn't seem to care.
He said "If you don't like what I said, the supervisor is at counter 4". Ok. Thanks for making me feel like I did something wrong, buddy!
Not sure how or why the supervisor had his title because he couldn't "magically go in the computer and make corrections". It was laughable at this point. He told me I am stuck with this is for 4 years.
Terrible, Terrible, Terrible
