Amongst the over-the-top casino hotels on the strip, this one comes out as a bit classy (enough said!). This is a ginormous place - could very well be its own city with a zip code. We stayed in the main Wynn towers as per recommendation from the seasoned folks and think we made the right choice. The main Wynn is more accessible from main attractions than Wynn Encore.
The rooms are very comfortable and the bed and the linens were plush and cozy. Almost everything in the room is electronic/mechanized. The shower was just awesome and very indulgent! The maid service was very good and the view from the room awesome even from the 7th floor. Actually I had a meeting in a suite on the 37th floor, and from there, the view was splendid!
Not much of a gambler but saw rows and rows of one armed bandits, blackjack tables, and all forms of machinations to help you part your money. Quite remarkably, the casino hall didn't it smell too much of alcohol and tobacco - either they get a different clientele or they have good ventilation.
The place had a remarkable arrangements of fresh flowers (see pics). They have a big shopping plaza and several restaurant (see my reviews of a couple of them) as part of the complex. You can quite literally spend a few days here without leaving the complex (I guess that's the idea). I was here to attend a conference and found the meeting rooms grand and mega-large. They have a nice cabana by the pool open setting - which was large enough to host a sit-down lunch for a few hundreds.
