My AC went out. We had it installed new with 10 year parts, labor compressor warranty in 2005 so we still have a short time left on the warranty. I called the phone number on my invoice and ACE answered the call. I was confused because a company called Sierra national installed our AC. I explained our situation. The ACE receptionist advised me that they acquired the former companies contact information and leads, but does not honor any of the former companies warranties. Apparently they take the business leads but none of the responsibility. We are without AC and have a newborn at home. Our warranty is now worthless. When I verbalized my dissatisfaction to the receptionist, she hung up. I then received a prompt call back (must have used caller ID) from a woman who identified herself as the office manager. She explained again that the company can't help because they don't honor the warranties. She offered no help or solution. She had a foul tone and was unhelpful and rude. I'll never do business with a company like this
