 | - I always get a bit nervous when I go to a new person for a hair appointment, regardless if it's high end or cheap...... anyone can screw up the locks.
My mom recommended Avalon to me a few weeks ago, so I figured I would try it out. I figured it's only $8 for a cut and if they do screw it up my hair is long enough to fix it and it's way inexpensive that I can afford another one if necessary. Well, I am happy to report that I had no issues with my experience. Nydia, the student I had my appointment with, was great! She did a great job, she made sure to find out exactly what I wanted before starting. I even gave her a little bit of leeway, and let her decide how short to do the layers and how to style it. She did well. The salon was very busy that day so there was a lot of people watching to be had. I also got my brows waxed and she did very well at that as well!
I am excited to go back for to try out more of their many salon options; mani/pedi, deep condition, hair highlight (much needed!), facial, etc.
