This Walgreens is horrible!!!! You always have to wait and wait and wait for any service at the pharmacy. If you have to wait any less then an half hour before being helped consider yourself lucky. I've always been loyal to walgreens but after today I will be loyal to CVS and will not be stepping foot in another walgreens.
On Sunday my son was sick so I took him to urgent care. Well by the time we were done the only walgreens open was a 24 hour one miles away from my house. When I got his script filled they had one insurance on file but not the other. The one they didn't have is the same insurance he's had since the day he was born and has been used there every other time so I don't understand that, but whatever. Anyways, my son was very sick and needed the meds so I paid out of pocket and was told to take the missing insurance info to any walgreens and they will refund me. So I went to this location as it is the one closest to my home, stood in line the mandated half hour, with a sick kid, and they told me there is nothing they could do and I would have to go to the 24 hour location miles from my house. Um, no I will not be shuffling my sick kid all around town for an error that originated on your end, twice!!! (First with the insurance they miraculously didn't have even though it's been the same and has been used every other time. And second telling me to go to any location.) I could tell they could care less about me or my situation and just wanted to shoo me away as quickly as they could. I asked for the number for corporate and again the manager seemed less then bothered by any of this and in fact seemed put out that she even had to do her job. I have contacted corporate and now have to do what Walgreens is known for. Wait two days for a response to see if they can help me!!! This place is awful!!! Do yourself a favor and find a cvs!!!
