  • My husband and I moved in a few months ago. Everything was perfect for a few weeks.. until the upstairs neighbors moved in. You can hear every single little thing these people do at ALL TIMES. I've started to get anxiety attacks due to the random banging and have ultimately had to purchase a noise machine to sleep through the night. The bed and couch RATTLE from the vibrations. Yes, it's that bad. I don't think the noise issue is exclusive to us. Even little things like footsteps are amplified due to the way the building is constructed and the fact that most of the apartment area is not carpeted. Of course.. you can call or email the office and this will get the neighbors to be mindful for a little while, but you can't ask people to walk on eggshells forever! Some noise dampening in the space between the floors would do this place wonders. I can't criticize the complex itself because the facilities are amazing, the gym is spacious, the pool and hot tub are great and the grounds are kept clean. I give them a star for this. The thing is... you're not going to spend your entire day outside!! If you want a bit of peace and quiet inside your apartment this is not the place. This is our first 'luxury' rental and can honestly say the premium is not worth it. It seems like the building was constructed very shoddily. Like a previous reviewer says, only consider this complex if you're moving to the top floor.
