Two-stars apparently means I've experienced better... I haven't been to any other drive-in's, but I know I did not really enjoy this one.
Discounting the fact that I had to rent a Zipcar in order to venture to Oakville for this AND that it was raining, the experience was mediocre:
1. The lot is dark and not clearly labeled with signs on which screen is where... I drove in a loop a few times. The attendant also recited the directions too fast and unenthusiastically.
2. The screen is NOT THAT BIG? I totally would choose the huge Cineplex screens any day. I felt like I was watching TV in a car.
3. How exactly does one prevent the windows from fogging up on a humid rainy day, without soaking the interior of the car as one eats a giant serving of drive-in poutine?? Focusing on de-fogging the windows really took away from the movie (which, ironically, was Drive and was supposed to be good...)
On a positive note: delicious, extremely fatty poutine.
