| - We have had our ups and downs. The management staff has always been nice to me, but pretty nasty to my fiance. The pet owners here are terribly irresponsible and unfortunately our living room window backs up to a popular dog walking area. We can constantly smell dog feces. About a month after we moved in, we noticed termite tubes in one of the bedrooms. We reported it and it took them (literally) 2 months to come take care of the issue. According to the exterminator they were very well fed termites.... awesome. Word of advice, if you rent here, be sure to read your lease through and through. And if you plan to leave be sure you give 60 days notice. We forgot this little tidbit and our lease was autorenewed (?!?!?!?!) Without our consent. I have lived in PLENTY of apartment complexes over the last 10 years and not once have I lived in one that autorenews. They told us they left a notice on our door. Really? In the middle of monsoon season? Sounds like an awesome method of correspondence. So now we are stuck in our lease for a month longer. We bought a home, and now have to pay a rent bill on top of a mortgage. Thanks for the consideration, jerks. The amount of beetles crawling all around our door at night gives me the heebie jeebies. And of course they come in the door when you open it. The pools are nice. We haven't gotten to enjoy them much, but when we have they have met our expectations. The frontage road makes traveling north extremely inconvenient. Parking has been our biggest problem. If you have more than one vehicle and you get home after about 5pm, you're pretty screwed. My fiance consistently has to park clear on the other end of the complex, and has even had to park outside on the road. We pay WAY too much to not even be able to park a vehicle on the premises. Ridiculous. We have dogs, so we did the courteous thing and chose to live on the first floor. Unfortunately not everyone is this courteous and the last 2 upstairs neighbors have had rowdy dogs and heavy feet. It comes with apartment living, I get it. It's just one more annoyance. We've made it pretty clear that we will not be recommending this place to anyone.
