Never ever ever go to reactive ink for piercings, unless you want 2 months of brutal infections. I've been a customer at this location several times (4 times prior) through-out the years (due to being too broke to afford better places to get piercings done) and I've had the last straw. The quality of this shop has seemed to have dropped.
This January I got a snug done at reactive ink and got a infection 1 week later... that i've been battling for 2 months. I've been to 2 different doctors and been on 3 different antibiotics. Yes snugs are notoriously hard piercings to heal, but I was told by 2 different piecers that this was abnormal.
Here's the kicker, I was told that the infection was likely due to the piercer's experience / most importantly the jewelry's material. I was informed I was given too wide of a bar for the area, that the material used was cheap/ a hazard for new piercings.
I have to say in the end I should of avoided reactive ink from the get go. I would love to ask for a refund, as this is a disgusting thing to do to any other human being.
So let this be a warning to all broke students, just pay more at a better shop and to avoid the months of pain (& eventually the removal of the piercing in question).
