Sugar intake portion control? Fuhgeddabouditt! No hope for that here. You'd need to install a deterent magnet on yourself (like they have on some shopping carts) to stop you from entering this cafe.
True story: A piece of Black Forest Cake lasted me 5 days. I ate it every morning for breakfast with plain coffee. Kept it in the fridge in the box, covered by a plastic bag with a loosely tied knot. Works perfectly to keep the cake moist. Really good cake, not too sweet; but again it's sugar.
Tried knish for the first time. My best description is they look like food stuffed donuts with a thinner dryer dough. Favored the spinach stuffed one much better. I find it heavy, so eating half made me full. I liked it!
But guess what? You know how you go to the store to get one thing and end up with more than you intended? It may happen to you at this cafe. It totally happened to me, dang. I only meant to try their cannolis. Then I saw the humongous black and white cookie, tiramisu, all sorts of cakes...
