| - I lived walking distance between Basha's and Fresh And Easy, and found myself going to Fresh And Easy more and more
There are two main reasons I'll go here over Basha's. One is their clearance areas. There are seperate clearance areas for dry, frozen, and cooler. I generally can find great values on vegetables, hummus, various pasta salads, and breads. It's perfect if you're like me and tend to mainly buy food that I'm going to eat today or tomorrow
The other reason to go is the cheap beer. I'm not sure if it's an exclusive brand to them, but the Taurino Cerveza is very good and very comparable to Corona. An 18pk of cans is usually $10-11 dollars, and seems every few weeks it'll be on sale for $8.99
They also have a beer called Steel Kettle which comes in regular and lite, but that's more of a last resort. Cheep as hell though. Norally $6.99 for a 12pk of cans, and seems every few weeks it's on sale for $5.99
As for wine, like Trader Joes, they stock a few different kinds of $2.99 wines. There's one with a big surfboard on it that is pretty good for cheap wine
