| - We got to this hotel on the 11th and stayed in 152. I give two stars for the friendly staff, everything else was bleh! We set up for my daughter's bath time a little late so we dove right in. When I went to close the door after setting her in with daddy, there was a KIT KAT on the floor. This was not a sealed kit Kat. It was a broken off piece of that kit Kay bar. Just one of the two sticks, slightly smooshed. They did not *clean* the bathroom. They emptied the trash. They made the beds. The bottoms of our (previously shoe/socked) feet were filthy and there was a kit Kat on the floor. They were overbooked and couldn't get us into another room but would clean it tomorrow. Gross. Too late for my husband. He got athletes foot from their tub.
My daughter finally went to sleep so I went to get some water and snacks from the vending machines. (The complementary "bottled water" in the lobby is a tiny, *empty* jug with a spout on it, or the $2 vending machine water. Wasn't sure. Also they're on two separate floors.) While I was gone, security sees our door cracked (so I don't wake her with the key card). He just bangs on it and asks if all is well. WTF dude?? Toddler awake!
We were not comp'd anything for the lack of a sanitary place to shower. Not for being disturbed with a do not disturb sign in the door. But they were friendly about it. :/
The breakfast staff refilled things when we flagged them down. They had plenty of various carbs, eggs, sausage on Saturday but not Sunday, potato, fruit in a bowl, and some yogurt in the fridge. Eggs and sausage were greasy but could have been worse. Apple to the rescue! Really breakfast staff, you are the only reason this gets 2 stars and not 0.
