I always have enjoyed coming to Barnes and Noble to sit and drink coffee while studying. As a college student I find the environment relaxing and I love the atmosphere. I also really enjoy reading so when I take study breaks it's nice to read for pleasure and not for school. My first time being in this particular B&N I am very disappointed. I ordered a pizza, paid for it and continued working. I and my friend were drinking coffees, not purchased from the cafe, and were approached by a worker (only doing her job) that said her manager told us we were not allowed to drink outside drinks and handed us a menu. As I was a paying customer, the rudeness of that gesture shocked me. Talking to a lady nearby, she said that her experience here was the exact same, on multiple occasions. This has never happened to me before in a B&N and I do not feel welcomed back to study.
