| - A long, long time ago, when I was a kid, I never would have dreamed of a place like this. We had parks, common pools, occasionally we had enough money to go to the amusement park or the beach, and that was about it. The high point of the week was when the ice cream cart came around. An Eskimo Pie cost 4 cents and we waited for our penny change.
My head would've exploded if my Mother had taken me to one of these places.
Lots of kids, which unfortunately meant that we had to watch our granddaughter pretty closely.
She made her circuit around the whole place, and then she did it again. She would've kept going, if we didn't have to go somewhere else. I get tired just thinking about it.
The food really knocked me for a loop.
I basically ate a pound of sugar at the amusement park, but this place had pretzels and healthy fruit drinks. I think that i saw more adults eating the foods, than kids. Maybe that's who the food is for. I have no idea.
All I know, is that it's better than those confounded video games, and that's a good enough reason for me.
And, we have some more ammunition..."Sweetheart, now you be a good girl, and we'll take you to the Cafe.."
