  • Do not call Empire Today!!!!! Waited 3 weeks to get carpeting put in, late in the afternoon before my next morning install I was called and told that my carpeting couldn't be installed the next morning because three installers were calling in sick for the next day. Turned out all their installers quit and I was told I would now have to wait another week. Then I was told it would be 2 weeks. I immediately called my salesperson who had no clue what was going on so I decided to call corporate. They hung up on me. Called corporate back and was told that I was locked into this contract. I told them that according to their contract, they breached the contract and I wanted my deposit money back immediately. I was told I would have to call another number in the morning. The number turned out to be fake. I of course got my money back within 48 hours, but I had to fight for it. I started calling other companies, and found out that I was not the only one, but one of a lot of people that they just did this to. Other companies stepped up to the plate to help make sure we all got carpeting. I ended up getting my carpet installed one day later than expected and cheaper. Thank you H&M carpet, you saved the day!
