This place has been around for a while. I remember cakeview being at this mall when i first started coming to Vietnam Noodle Star (almost 20 years ago). I don't think this place has the most delicious food, but they offer good value.
For 5.50 you can get a breakfast combo with a free hot drink (HK milk tea/coffee/yuan yang/lemon tea). I usually get a bowl of noodles with a type of protein and a few pieces of iceberg lettuce. Today i ordered the fried pork chop with vermicelli. The pork chop was slightly crisp on the outside but still juicy on the inside. The vermicelli wasn't overcooked (there isn't that much to say about vermicelli since they buy dried vermicelli and boil it). The soup is probably bouillon cubes and MSG. I had a hot milk tea because I needed a caffeine jolt and didn't want to spend more money getting a good milk tea at Marathon.
They are well known for their mango mousse cake, but before they had mango mousse they had black forest cake. This is their OG cake.
They have delicious egg tarts, Portugese tarts, and some variations to egg tarts (like a milk and egg white tart). Their Portugese tart is more watery than a traditional Portugese tart, but still yummy nonetheless.
It is a great place if you want a quick and cheap bite or to buy cakes. If you are craving a solid HK milk tea I would implore you to try Marathon milk tea which is 2 plazas north.
