One of my favorite things about the Cosmo is that its bars and restaurants are usually edgier and less conventional than typical Strip venues.
Unfortunately, Clique is a bit blah. It's not a bad bar or anything -- there's just nothing noteworthy about it. I guess I expected more from the Cosmo than a nondescript lobby bar (albeit a lobby bar with pretty art glass).
We stopped by Clique to pass the time before dinner reservations elsewhere. I had an aviation (my standby), which tasted sweeter than usual, but otherwise fine. What wasn't fine was that this aviation cost $20 for no discernible reason. It was well gin, and the same drink costs $6-7 dollars less elsewhere in the Cosmo. Not sure what's going on there.
I suppose if you're in desperate need of an expensive cocktail in close proximity to the Cosmo casino, Clique works in a pinch. Otherwise, there are plenty of more noteworthy venues to check out in the area. (The Chandelier and Rose Rabbit Lie would be my favorites.)
