Am I the only one who gets frustrated when you miss the expiration date on a gift card by one day and get an attitude of "you snooze you lose"?
But wait there's more! How about the policy to lock up the $24 walkie-talkie and then escort your customers to the counter where you'll allow them to touch it only after paying for it. I am a 52 year old grandmother with arthritis in both hips... any fantasy I may have harbored for a career in grab & dash is long since faded. I don't know if I should feel insulted that they thought I would steal it or complimented because he thought I could out run him. Regardless, you can imagine how excited I was when I found out that Vince, the store Manager, was very helpful in quoting the policy verbatim when my husband called to convey our disappointment.
Next time I'll drive a little further to Bass Pro Shop; their selection, service and prices are superior and they don't have to rely on break-model promotions to make a buck.
