  • I have two check-ins here but I've eaten here at least six times. I really enjoy Rice & Company. I eat here almost every time I'm in Vegas. The first time I visited it was because of MyVegas offer. With the offer, there is a requirement to order $100 worth of value and then you receive a $50 credit. The deal is great and makes the meal even more appealing of course. I used to order a whole fried fish but I didn't see it on the menu this time so that was a slight bummer. They made up for it by serving up the best calamari I've ever had. The calamari comes with tons of fresh and hot (spicy) sliced jalapenos. It was tender and fried just right with the perfect amount of seasoning to accompany the sweet dipping sauce and the spicy peppers. Thank goodness I had some Hana Peach Sake waiting near my plate to wash it down with. I'm telling you, this combo is a must try. My husband had a chicken dish. I really don't know what it was but he enjoyed it. In the past when I ate beef and chicken I have ordered sweet and sour chicken from here and it was good. I ordered the shrimp fried rice. It was packed full of huge full-sized shrimp that tasted very fresh. The seasoning was light and free from heavy soy sauce to mask bad cooking techniques. There was just a slight hint of oil which I loved, no greasy mess going in my stomach. I thought that it would be best to get some veggies too so I ordered the broccolini. It was nice and green, cooked just right with crispness still in it and had a hint of garlic and salt. There was plenty to share with probably three people. On the way out I couldn't resist trying a dessert that was listed. I ordered it to go and couldn't believe how huge this thing was when I got back to my hotel. This was a tower of chocolate cake, mousse, cake, mousse, cake, mouse. I mean, it's huge. It came with a sauce that looked like it was strawberry (I didn't try it because the cake was always a lot to deal with) and was topped with two fresh strawberry slices. This is definitely a place to indulge and get some high-quality Asian fare. Our waitress was excellent and above and beyond as far as being attentive goes. Once again, this restaurant has earned my desire to return and try all that I've tried before and then some.
