  • I came to Phoenix Custom Tailors shortly before I was due to fly out of town for my wedding. The mission: create a custom overlay tulle skirt to give my sleek wedding dress a little umf. I met with Jessica and was immediately reassured I went to the right place. We spoke in person and via email to iron out the details and voila...she came up with a piece that was perfect (and portable!). Note: this is not an everyday item one would request. She had to make the design up based on my specs and she nailed it...and for a very reasonable rate. In addition to the custom job, I brought in a vintage wedding gown to be worn for a post-wedding Halloween costume party. While I only needed a zipper, based on my feedback Jessica took it upon herself to cinch the waist to fit better without tampering with the delicate, old pattern. Finding a good seamstress or tailor can be surprisingly hard. Phoenix Custom Tailors did such an amazing job with these cherished pieces I will for sure be back!
