Got to Toronto, vehicle was not ready and my name was not on the gold member board. Had to go in and wait for my vehicle which, when I finally received my vehicle it was a smaller size than requested with no offer of a better rate or compensation. Frustrated, I walk to my car which is conveniently parked with the front bumper 2 inches from the wall. I get in, the paperwork is already filled out, then I proceed to drive away. As soon as I get to the hotel I notice there is a nice scrape on the front bumper of the car. Fast forward 3 days later to when I return the car. Hertz tells me I put the scrape on the car! Convenient that the car is parked so close to a wall (so I am unable to see the damage), the car was not ready and the paperwork had already been filled out. I now believe what happened is one of their many dishonest employees dinged up the car parked it in a fashion that would require me to move it in order to inspect it. I also don't believe this is the car I was supposed to have, I think it was late at night and they needed to quickly put the blame on someone else or their job would be at risk. Inspect every inch of the vehicle you rent from here, and yes even if you have to back it out. These scumbags will try to scam you in every way possible. Zero integrity should be their motto. Do not rent from here, the other reviews are proof enough they could care less about customer service. Scumbags.
