  • I've been to this convention center about five years in a row now for CES. This review is mostly about my last experience and some vendors I met who were miserable. Miserable due to leaking. There were buckets everywhere. This wasn't what anyone would consider a heavy rain. I was out walking in it with a hat and I got a little wet but damn. Fix the roof before you expand. I know you're in a dessert but it rains occasionally. People paid thousands of dollars to be there. The electrical outage on day 2 of CES was in a rain that wouldn't have soaked you in a minute. While CES is a marathon and the convention center is just what holds it, some things pop out about the space. The signage isn't adequate to direct visitors who are on the floor. Oh, there're signs, but it's hard to see when every other exhibitor is blocking the view. Few extra maps and have things posted on the walls every so many feet would be useful. The food lines were absurd. I took a picture of one of the pizza places under the stairs in one of the halls and there were at least 90 people in line. This never let up. Open to close the lines were hours long. In these events perhaps consider driving food trucks in or something as there's nothing in easy grabbing range. That said, the staff at the LVCC were good. Traffic was directed as well as I could expect. Space is what it is and it's huge and laid out a little oddly. Fix the roof. Throw burritos to the hungry. You'll be great again.
