Booking was easy to do online. I was able to request a forward facing car seat and booster for my kiddos at no extra charge and was confirmed immediately after booking my brand new Audi A4 sedan.
Once I landed, I let Silvercar know via app that I had arrived and got a text and call shortly after letting me know that my car was on its way to meet me. After confirming my insurance, drivers license and credit card with the rep, I unlocked the car with my app (so neat!), installed the car seats, got connected to the in-car wifi and was on my way.
With two kids in tow it is so so appealing to not have to wait in a line, not having to sign here sign there and deal with rude counter employees, and having the car some to me and not have to search the huge lot for it is such a plus!! Even without kids, I would rent Silvercar again just for this ease.
And fortunately, the rate is really not that much more than other rental agencies AND you get a brand newish and clean luxury car and the ease of getting your butt into it right away.
Due to liability reasons, they will not install your car seats for you. Not to worry, I was able to install both myself without any issues via LATCH system and it was super easy.
On our last day, we returned the car to their rental location. The GPS was already programmed with their location as "home" so not having to fumble around with google maps or waze was another plus.
So neat! No cons whatsoever!! I will gladly rent them again and have referred them to many friends, especially the ones with kids.
