| - Just stopping by to further validate Homer's five star score.
I was looking for a new/used tire on Tuesday, Oct 2. Barb's Wholesale in Oakland and Homer's Service Center in Greenfield were my candidates. Well, Barb's didn't call me back though I left a message. Homer's picked up, and told me they'd look around for what I needed.
About a hour and a half later, they called back, said they have the proper size, I said I'd probably take two (for symmetry, I thought), and they said $50 for the two used tires and installation.
Upon seeing my car, they actually discouraged me from replacing one of my tires, and only sold me the one I needed. So, $25 instead of the $50 i was willing to spend.
The staff was attentive. The owner made sure I was taken care of upon walking thgouth. Even the waiting room was pleasant, adorned with children's drawings on the wall, as well as a 17-year old newspaper article about the roots of (Ken) Homer's Service Center.
This was my first time here, and I'll definitely come back when it's inspection time without fear of any phantom issues with my car.
