I gave RA Sushi another chance after having a negative experience in a Tucson location and at this point, I think that I'm ready to cross it off my list completely. I came here for a birthday drink and snack (small order of sushi and dessert after having a meal elsewhere) and it didn't wow me by any means. The drink that I had was good, but that's pretty much it. I ordered a tuna nigiri (maguro) and the sushi order came out before any plates, chopsticks, or wasabi did so I had to sit there and wait for those to arrive before I could eat. When I was ready for dessert, I asked for an order of green tea ice cream and our waitress informed us that she would have to check if they have it, because they were out the previous day. Ten minutes go by without seeing our waitress, and I remind her that I had asked about the green tea ice cream. She apologizes, and five minutes later returns with it. This is a rather common theme throughout this experience at RA - the food is mediocre and the service is always lacking. Maybe the issue is that I prefer to sit in the bar area, which is open seating? Whatever the case, I think it'll be a little while before I return here.
