This is the best meal we have had in Montreal. We lucked out at getting a table with no reservation on a Wednesday night at 6:00 pm.
We saw they make their own gin. Asked them to make a drink with the gin. It was great with ginger beer, mint, lime.
Started with the Plogue a Champlain that had foie gras, bacon and maple syrup. Loved the sweet salty combo. My favorite dish.
Next appetizer with beef tongue. So tender.
And then the duck (not the one if the can). It was so much food for two people! So tender, tasty and lean. The mix with the caramelized onions was so good.
This place was a gem. Can understand the high ratings. A must eat when in Montreal.
