I rarely have a problem as a consumer. Even when the business has made an error, I always practice patience and work with them to conclusion.
I settled on a NEW title - Until Dawn for PS4. Jonathan bags the game and I'm on my merry way. Only later did I realize the game was not new! Fingerprints and light scratches on disc. Another detail was their was no "new game" sticker. If you break this seal then it lose value immediately. Also no players manual - annoying.
Fast forward a month later. I talked with another associate, he agrees that Game Stop has made an error and he's going to "take care" of the issue. However, once I made my way to checkout the manger intervened and was determined to spout "return policy" rules over n' over. Annoying.
He does confirm that a mistake was made but Game Stop can't suffer for it. I must. The return value had plummeted over 90% to a measly $5!? Game Stop has peeved me off and driven me to online marketplace. Good luck GS.
