  • I enjoyed going to the Epic Thrift Stores when I was in town two years ago so I've been very disappointed to find that they seem to have all closed since I was last in town. I stopped by this one after going to the Iowa Cafe across the street and saw the signs on the front door announcing it was closed. To my surprise, when I looked in the window I saw lots of merchandise inside on the racks that looked ready to sell even though the store has been closed for months. They should be donating some of that merchandise to women shelters, needy children and homeless people. It's not doing anyone any good just sitting there.
