| - I purchased an LG Washer and Dryer in 2012.The month that I purchased these units they were recalled. Somehow R.C. Willey missed this. I had bought an entire home's worth of furniture and paid cash. We bought the Frigidaire Gallery appliance package with four pieces in total, on top of the High End Washer and Dryer manufactured by LG. Both LG and R.C. Willey have refused to work with me. I have had three repairs to the washer alone and one for the dryer. The tech that repaired the washer 4 months ago, claimed that LG needed to replace or refund for my unit. He said this to his boss while I was listening. He had the phone turned on to speaker. I have all the extra motors and top pieces that they have replaced, yet the unit is still not working. LG claimed that they were sending parts out and the wait time would be 2 1/2 months. I waited for 3 1/2 months with no contact from LG. Periodically, I had been in touch with R.C. Willey and i still get the same runaround. I was told on Friday of last week by Janice, that I would be contacted by Monday or Tuesday about my issue. Today is the following Saturday. Four days past due for my return call from Janice at R.C. Willey. I purchased the very same month that these units were recalled. I am out over $2300.00, and still have two door stops by way of a washer and dryer that I can not use. I have had so many clothes destroyed by this washer, and I am having to go to the laundry to do my clothing. This is very time consuming and costly, when I have a washer and dryer that I spent VERY GOOD MONEY for and cannot utilize due to the breakdown and necessary parts that were never ordered after I was told they were by LG. LG has offered a buy back at $300.00. This is strange, considering I paid over $2300.00. They also want me to pay to have the units shipped to their Atlanta Corporate Office at my expense. Ultimately, I will end up in Small claims Court. I was only going to do this to LG, but now have decided to add R.C. Willey to that same suit. The washer Dryer set was misrepresented to me verbally when I purchased the units. They also sold me a floor model. I just discovered this recently, while going over repair paperwork. I paid for a new one. Not one that was on the floor for possibly months and for show in order to sell the units. I have been done wrong by R.C. Willey and LG. I will not be taken for these sales tactics by both parties. It is a blatant rip off. Once they (Both LG and R.C. Willey) have your money and you are out the door. Their job is finished. They no longer want anything to do with you. Thanks R.C. Willey for NOT following up with a very GOOD customer. Same goes for LG. These two really make great partners. I have been lied to by both. R.C. Willey has my phone number, I will patiently await their call. They should hurry though, they have until day after tomorrow. Then I will take this matter and handle it in a different put positive way. I hope someone reads this and decides to NOT shop at R.C. Willey or purchase any products from LG. Thank you!
