  • Great DIY candle shop for the crafty explorer! We ventured across this gem while we were on the annual Lawrenceville Cookie Tour, and had to come back! The Candle Lab has a great atmosphere with some really awesome and welcoming staff. Bring your sniffer and take a whiff of all of their unique scents! They provide you with a log where you jot down several of your favorite scents. Not sure what smells compliment what? Have no fear, they help you pick what works best, and what to avoid! You have your option of several different candle jars, as well as the ability to bring your own jar/container to fill. Cost ranges from about $17-32. All steps are guided and the staff are available to assist. The candle making process does not take long, maybe 15 minutes. Longest parts are selecting your scents and allowing the candle to set, which takes about 1.5 hours. What to do during that wait? Well it happens to be BYOB, so you can drink some beverages while you wait. They also host groups as well. We went for my birthday and had a smaller group of 6 people, but they have the space to accommodate much more. If candles are your thing, this is the place to go!
