  • This review is geared more toward anyone with curly hair. And there's a lot of us out there. Have you ever gone in to a salon that has promised you that they "totally know how to cut curly hair" and walked out looking scarily like Krusty the Klown? Yeah, me too. It's SO frustrating. Everyone will TELL you they can do it and some make a really good attempt at it but they've clearly not been trained in the technique. Enter Gillian at Get Banged Salon. She confidently assured me she had many years experience with curly, wavy (and every other) hair so I booked my appointment, hoping she was the Real Deal, and whaddya know she really is. This girl knows how to cut curly hair. Dry cut. With shape ... and style ... that suits your face and your lifestyle! Go figure! In no time at all she had transformed my much-loved curls into more loved curls. No frizz -- no inappropriate products -- no nonsense. She's a blast to spend time with and I'm glad I found her. I almost wish I could keep her a secret but jewels like her are WAY too good not to share. Phone. Do it. You'll thank me.
