| - I absolutely love this place! The food was good, the service was great, the ambiance was intimate, but similar looking to a pub.
Their menu has great selections. I couldn't decided between the escargots, foie gras, or bone marrow, but after some thinking, I decided to go with the bone marrow. That was a great choice!
I've had bone marrow elsewhere. In some places, I've gotten bone that are large but with little marrow. This one had smaller bones, but generous portions of marrow! The bone marrow comes in two pieces and 3 slices of toasted bread. You use the marrow to spread on the bread...like butter and yes, better than butter!! If it's your first time having bone marrow ever, or if you're not a fan of the bone marrow taste itself, I'd recommend using the side of caramelized onions. The caramelized onions will take over the bone marrow taste.
Got the mussels for the entree. The light garlic buttery wine sauce was flavorful, and it didn't feel too buttery. The only disappointment was the size of the mussels. I'm used to large jumbo mussels almost as big as oysters, but these mussels were just slightly bigger than clams. Regardless, they tasted excellent.
I'd like to come back to try the escargots and the foie gras!
