| - Caught the UCLA vs UNLV game last Saturday. The stadium is in the middle of a huge open area well off the strip. It is old, outdated and in bad need of replacement. That being said, it's not that bad. Look, UNLV is not a national powerhouse but this is Vegas, man. They are an FBS school and they deserve a cool house. It's kinda like University of Oregon. They are a top school and they play in a palace. They have the money for it. UCLA plays in an old rickety Rose Bowl but they have great amenities, a killer scoreboard, replays, decent concessions and partying on a golf course. Boyd has a dusty gravel parking lot, really weak concessions, no video board or replays. The good part are cheap tickets, cheap concessions, they sell alcohol and the sight lines are good.
I bought my seats on stubhub. I have never had a problem with them in the past, but some dude came to my seat with my same ticket. Long story short, we both got kicked out. Not the stadiums fault but a crappy way to end an evening.
