  • The oldest Strip casino is now finally going to close. The Trop has been a fixture at the south end of the strip since the 1950s. The tropical paradise theme has been superceeded many times by places like the Mirage and Mandalay Bay, but the Trop has a charm that has endured. The cheap poolside rooms are still great value, and the place can offer most of the facilities that the modern tourist requires.
