  • Our first time at Tarbells was great! We happened upon the restaurant by luck after we were dismayed from the crowds/long wait at postino and LGO. Without reading a review, we chose this place out of sheer hunger. Our menu: Fish of the day - flute. A nice white fish dish, good flavor, just not quite enough flavor for the price. House made ribbon pasta with sausage - delicious! Amazing flavor in the sauce, perfect pasta, tasty sausage. Creme brulee - delicious! Great portion to split between two or three. The hive (cocktail) - wonderful! High end bourbon with rosemary and honey, great combination. Service: Our server was Martin - he was awesome. Very attentive and showed up at all the right moments, but not overbearing. Cherry on the top - as we were leaving, we were given little bags of popcorn!!! What!? Only because I'm a popcorn lover was this so impactful, but this little treat just tipped the experience from great to awesome! Obviously if you're researching the restaurant you know it is on the pricey side. (Since we hungrily stumbled in, we had no idea). But we were quite pleased with our experience and will be back again!
