| - What happens when you go on vacation, and you forget your smart phone or camera?
Do you panic? Do you cry? Do you feel helpless?
Or are you like me........."Don't worry.......be happy!" :)
So......... I went on a short vacation to the mainland, and since United Airlines canceled my flight to San Francisco/Las Vegas, and rerouted me through Los Angeles/Las Vegas, everything was turned upside down for me.
It all started the night before I left, as I had to go to the gym to get one last workout, and upon getting home, I had to pack for my trip.
Quick tip for your folks (be smart, don't be like me)..........it's NOT a good idea to pack the day before you leave, but what cha' gonna do if you gotta work?
Next time I think I will skip out on my nighttime workout, and stay home and pack my bags instead.
Anyways, I finally get to bed around 1:45 am, and told my friend to swing by my house at 7:15 am, as I had to be at the airport at around 7:30 am.
I went to bed, and next thing you know..........I wake up at 7:45 am! As soon as I woke up and realized I should be at the airport, panic set in, and the mayhem began!
I ran out the house with just my shorts on, just to see if my friend was waiting for me downstairs by the gate.
Sure enough, he was there..........steady like Freddy!
I ran back into my house, threw on a shirt, slipped on my shoes, and gang,........I kid you not.........I didn't even brush my teeth, or comb my hair. I just grabbed my wallet, and out the door I went, only to realize when my friend was driving me to the airport, that I had forgotten my phone! YIKES! Ouch!
Well, I must say..........it's good to be unplugged for a few days. No need to answer to anyone, and if someone calls me while I'm on vacation........well, they will just have to wait till I get back home.
After a few days on the mainland, I was having YELP withdrawals........I mean, without a phone, how can I Yelp?????
This is where Walmart comes to my rescue!!!!
I tried going to Frys Electronics to look for a cheap camera.........but the cameras weren't dirt cheap enough, so I headed out to good 'ol Walmart instead.
Sure enough..........I found a cheap @ss camera (Jazz Camera) for $27.00 smackers, & a $10 SD memory card........Yay! Now I'm back in action again!!!!
Well, if you see some of the pics I took on my trip...........you can clearly see what a $27.00 camera can do (which is not much), that is why some of the pics are pretty blurry.
But oh well, better than nothing yeah? I won't feel bad if this camera gets lost, or breaks..........because I consider this a "throw away" camera.
I'm glad where ever you go........there is usually a Walmart around in the neighborhood, as they sell almost everything, and anything.
But the best part about going to Walmart, is that you can get a certain item like a digital camera real cheap! Yay! For Walmart!!!!
