I really do not like to give bad reviews and I actually waited a couple of weeks to do this review in order to not be so harsh, but I feel I have to write this...I will start with the good. The patio area is nice and their margarita pitchers come with glasses already full plus the full pitcher, so that was awesome! The food on the other hand, not so much. I had Camarones a la Diabla done spicy. I was told that they forgot to make it spicy and given hot sauce, and the dish was made from some kind of concoction of what seemed like warm ketchup or a mild BBQ sauce over shrimp. Steer clear of this dish. My wife and sister-in-law were also less than pleased with their dishes as well. The staff was nice enough, however that does not make for my last 5 or 6 visits! There is potential at El Patron, but there is room for much, much improvement. As one other review pointed out, it does seem more like Tex-Mex.
