  • PHX is actually not a bad airport. Terminal 4 (Southwest) has a lot of good options inside for dining; I also like that there's a couple of Starbucks in there to get me all fueled up prior to the flight. I found that the expanded security was quick and painless, but my husband didn't as he was picked for the body scan. When renting a car, it does take about 10 minutes to get out to where all the cars are, and then of course longer to wait in lines, etc. Otherwise, I fins this airport easy and efficient, and one place we got at least once a year during Spring Training.
