We've been coming here for the past 3ish years to buy our annual Christmas tree. The trees are by no means boy scout cheap but there are several varieties to choose from, several price options to consider and the staff are very helpful/knowledgeable. They also sell wreathes, garlands, decorative art pieces and several other seasonal trinket type items. We love to get our tree the last couple days of November or first couple in December and keep it up until New Year's Day....it makes December magical in our house. Happily our trees from Plantation have not only lasted the duration (with a few needles lost) but also maintained their beauty right to the end.
I've stopped in over the summer to oogle their perennials & annuals and last week got sucked in by their Mum's and nice display of Pumpkins. Again not particularly cheap...you are looking at about $20 for a decent sized pumpkin...but in comparing to other stores (pre-sales) the pricing wasn't to over the top. The kids were with me so I allowed them to pick smallish pumpkins for Halloween carving.
I had to add an edit to this since I've just heard from a friend who was recently at Sunterra...they are selling pumpkins for $30-$100. So I'm thinking Plantation's pumpkins are well priced in comparison!
Plantation is a great little place right in the heart of the City and well worth the trek.
