This place is always packed with people, definitely not one of those place to sit and dominate a table and chair. It seems the barista Saverio, knew everyone seated on the counter table by name. Seems to be a cool neighbourhood indie coffee place.
Strategically situated by Broadview station. I finally braved myself to walk in, grabbing a to-go flat white with the busy crowd in the cafe.
The flat white coffee was not on the menu list, but I asked anyway. To my surprise, the barista made a decent flat white, assuming he did not make it much, being not started on the menu list. He even threw a joke about him making flat white for 20 years! He essentially explained to some costumers when they asked what a flat white is, he explained it in great deal in a very Italian way stating the difference between a flat white vs cappuccino.
Drop in, you'll find as if you're in someones living room enjoying a cup of coffee and some pastries kind of atmosphere. The only downside is, there's no proper food in this establishment. But you can certainly get a croissant or pastry to nibble on.
