  • Verns is quite the place. A dedicated hovel for emerging local bands and touring bands to play in. Calgary.... 5 bands every show. Calgary's dankest bar? I say yes.... Plenty of character and characters here. Upon arrival you will be approached by Clint, the bar man, who will ask you kindly to pay cover for the evenings events. Do not be taken aback by this initial request, what may seem like a gruff demeanor is merely a result of his dedication to music coupled with his towering stature.... Truly a gentle giant. Play nice and you may even be rewarded with a complementary shot of Jaggermeister
