| - It really saddens me to write this review as I really, really love Dr Jeffries. However, the front desk are the ones who forced me to find another dentist after 8 years of going to Dr Jeffries. Dr Jeffries is very kind, compassionate, friendly, caring, tell it like it is kind of dentist and I loved that in her. I have no problem with Dr Jeffries. Her front desk staff on the other hand are TERRIBLE. The turn over rate is crazy with them, this last batch AWFUL!!!! Every time I went in for my appointment I was treated as though I was bothering them. I wanted to get a copy of my file and x-rays several months ago JUST to have for my records, no other reason. Well, I got the third degree asking "what are you going to do with these, who are you giving them to." I wanted them for MY files!!! And I told them that, only to be looked at like I was lying. I was having an issue with my insurance paying as the insurance needed additional information from THEM to complete the claim process, not me, THEM. They told ME to call the insurance and straighten it out, I thought that was their job. I do not have the information they are requesting from my dental chart! In the meantime of trying to get them to do their job and send the insurance the information they need to process my claim, I was getting bills from Gentle Dental threatening to send me to collections if I don't pay this bill now that I'm waiting for them to send additional info to my insurance in order to pay it! Then when I called to talk to them about it I was told someone will call me back, no one ever did. Left SEVERAL messages, just to be ignored. Then trying to refill a prescription (mouth rinse) was a nightmare. They ignored every single request from my pharmacy. I finally needed to call them each and every time my prescription was up for refill, that is IF I could get through to them. They never, ever returned my calls. The phones are always on answering machine. And when you do get someone they are so rude you just don't want to deal with them. There are many more problems I've had, bottom line I just had enough of being treated like that. So I left Dr Jeffries practice 100% due to front desk personnel. I should also say the dental hygienist, Beth...AWFUL. I have never had a more uncaring, unprofessional, don't care attitude, get me in and get me out quick, don't care what kind of job I do on your teeth, and I really don't care if I hurt you, hygienist. She is the worst hygienist I have EVER encountered. When Jen left, that just broke my heart, as she was the absolute BEST dental assistant I have ever had the pleasure of being with.
