  • This is a superior dental practice, mercury free (!) and run by the loveliest people. Yes, I drive all the way from the other side of town to be seen by Dr. Rush. At first it was simply because I wanted to go to a dental office that didn't have mercury vapor in the air, but after my first visit, I returned because of the meticulous cleanings and examinations. The family who manages and runs this dental office are just wonderful people. They're extremely friendly from the front office to the back where they could (but don't) treat you like a number. And there is zero upselling here. I asked whether I was a candidate to whiten my teeth and not once did they mention that they could do it in their office. Instead, I just got a straight answer to my question about my teeth. This dental office is out of network for me, but I'll continue coming here because when you find a gem, you stay with them and Ahwatukee Family Dental are pure gems.
