  • I was a little hesitant about our trip to butterfly wonderland. Personally, I didn't feel like I could justify spending $20 to spend 10 minutes looking at butterflies. I was wrong because it was definitely worth the money. Butterfly wonderland is a place where you could spend hours without even realizing it. When you first get there you have to watch a tiny "documentary" about the life cycle of the monarch butterfly. I read a lot of negative reviews about this part, but I happened to find it very interesting. Then you go into a little room where they have on display the incoming butterflies that are getting ready to leave their little cocoons. Again, very interesting. The most wonderful part though is when you actually enter the wonderland, and I do not use that word lightly. It honestly feels like a magical wonderland. Like I said previously, I was worried about getting there and only spending a few minutes looking around and then leaving, but we were there for a couple hours without even realizing it. The greenery is beautiful, and the butterflies are breath taking. I will most definitely be returning!
