  • Poor communication by Sun City Awning. Very long wait times, very far back in queue to have work completed. The left hand doesn't know or care what the right hand is doing with Sun City Awning. YOU WILL receive better customer support from another company. If SunCity Awning keeps up this LACK OF COMMUNICATION with its first time and repeat customers I don't see them being in business much longer. Maybe Sun City Awning could benefit from better technology or maybe by better staff.. but they definitely need to invest in some business communication skills. If you choose this company DO NOT EXPECT to be treated like a first rate customer. Once you sign on and give them your deposit you become a number in a queue and you may or may not be remembered today. I would not trust them to follow through on their word. This is how this company has made this customer feel this far, be warned. Update 11/14/2017. Yes, still waiting... received this email today (the first correspondence from SCA in 6 weeks. Good Afternoon, Thank you for being a valued customer of Sun City Awning. I want to provide an update on the status of your project. We have had several challenges over the last few months which have caused delays in the installation timelines for you and other customers. Some of these challenges have been out of our control, such as delays caused by our suppliers. In addition, Sun City Awning has had some challenges with personnel staffing. These issues are currently being worked through and resolved. I will be reaching out to you again within the next couple weeks to get you an update regarding your installation timeframe. I want to thank you in advance for your understanding and patience as we strive to get your project completed. The fastest and most effective way to contact me is to communicate through email. I will respond to all emails within 24 business hours. Once again, thank you for your understanding and patience. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. I am such a valued customer they will update me in a couple of weeks.. this is some next level sh!t, unreal. Enter at your own risk. Update: 12/5/17 Still no email, no call just silence regarding our project. How many other companies take your 50% deposit in September... and vanish. They are now 3 weeks outside the sales person quoted maximum install date.. and not a peep. Considering contacting BBB and AZROC to issue complaint.
