  • First time visit. I'm not sure what a velveteen rabbit is in reference to and maybe the irony of its name was lost on me. There's no hidden nooks to explore here. You walk in and what you see is what you get. A long bar on one side and seating on the other...not much to check out but that's not a bad thing. Let the unique cocktails do the talking for you and worry about all the fluff later. I don't even know what I had...whiskey with cherry infusion or something or other...it was strong and tasted quite good once I remembered to remove the cinnamon gum from my mouth. Prices are on par with the rest of the cool kid hang outs downtown; 8-10 bucks per. One drink and we were out...no offense VR, the real plans of the evening were beckoning. A return in the near future is guaranteed...
